Aisha Sheikh

My name is Aisha, and I recently graduated from university with honours with a bachelor's in Communications. As a mature student, mom of three teens, philanthropist, and model, I bring much experience to my field. Volunteering at the Distress Centre for the past six years has allowed me to connect with some of Calgary's most vulnerable people. My experiences as a mom, anticipating my kids' needs and problem-solving, have allowed me to thrive in an internship at Polyscope Productions. I became integral to the office staff and was asked to return for another movie. The ability to connect with people, share, and create a safe space helped me develop a talk show that got me an A in university and a Telus story hive grant. I plan to create more content where people can share their stories.
