Alexa Pendzich

Lexi Pendzich is a film photographer, writer and storyteller based in Edmonton. Her lens-based work focuses on documentary photography and portraiture. She's inspired by the power of images to tell stories, personal narratives and capture moments that wouldn’t otherwise be documented. Lexi received her BA in Art History and Anthropology from the University of Alberta. She has shown work at The Gallery at CASA (Lethbridge, AB), 519 Gallery (Lethbridge, AB), Publication Studio (Edmonton, AB). Artist residencies include hcma (Edmonton, AB). Her most recent photography work is a visual narrative of women and LGBTQ+ skateboarders (with a forthcoming exhibition in Spring/Summer 2024).
